One 10A outlet with a USB-A port and a USB-C port beside it, on the 121 × 80 mm acrylic plate. The C port covers newer phones and tablets; the A port keeps the older cables in service.
A hotel room or a family bedside has both cable types in it. The A+C plate removes the adapter argument without asking the guest to bring a charger at all.
The USB module is additional to the outlet, not instead of it. A lamp or a clock still plugs into the 10A socket, and the USB ports charge separately.
The plate is the standard FS format and fits the standard Australian wall box. The module sits beside the outlet, so installation matches the rest of the room.

All models use the same 121 × 80 mm acrylic plate and the same SAA approval under AS/NZS 3112. The FS series covers switches, power points and communication outlets from one to six gangs; see the full FS series.
The A+C plate exists because cable drawers do not empty overnight. FS313-A+C puts a USB-C port and a USB-A port beside a 10A outlet, so a room can charge a new phone and an old tablet without a charger block on the wall.
Output is 5V 2A across the module. That is a maintenance charge rather than a fast charge — enough for overnight, not enough for a laptop. Where higher output is needed, the specification moves to a dedicated fast-charge module rather than this plate.
The outlet is unchanged: a lamp, a clock or a small appliance still plugs in. The plate is the standard FS 121 × 80 mm acrylic face and fits the same wall box as the rest of the range.

Choose A+C when the room will host both cable types for years — hotels, guest rooms, family bedrooms. Choose dual USB-A only when the devices are known to be older, which is increasingly rare.
The port type matters less than the output. A 5V 2A module charges overnight; a fast-charge module needs a different specification and a different price. Decide which one the project actually needs before comparing quotes.
If two outlets are required as well as charging, the double-point version (FS315-A+C) covers the position. The standard FS313 single point is the plate when no USB is needed at all.
USB-C outlets are now part of every mainstream Australian range — Clipsal, HPM, Connected Switchgear, Zetr, Voltex — and the imported ranges stocked by wholesalers. The differences between them are module output, port configuration and whether the module can be serviced.
For a project the useful checks are output per port, whether the ports share current, and the SAA documentation against the exact model. A plate that looks the same as the one beside it can carry a 2A module or a fast-charge module, and the guest will notice which one it is.
IGOTO manufactures FS313-A+C in Yueqing with SAA approval under AS/NZS 3112, supplying distributors and private-label brands on the same acrylic plate as the rest of the FS range.
A+C plates are assembled with the dual-port module fitted and tested for output on both ports before packing. The C port is the one that fails first in the field, so it is checked on the finished plate.
The plate runs in white, black, champagne and green with custom RAL matching and laser marking. Hotel and apartment orders are packed by room count.

No. A laptop needs a higher-wattage USB-C supply than a 5V 2A module provides. The plate is intended for phones, tablets and small devices.
Yes. The outlet and the USB module are separate circuits inside the plate, so a lamp can run while two devices charge.
The port mix. FS313-USB has two USB-A ports; FS313-A+C has one USB-A and one USB-C. The outlet, plate and cut-out are identical.
