The module is 5V 2A, so it charges overnight rather than quickly. That is a deliberate specification: the plate is a convenience point, not a fast-charge station, and the price reflects it.
The outlets are independent 10A points and the plate is the standard FS 121 × 80 mm format, so it mixes with standard doubles and singles in the same room.
Choose A+C where new devices are in use — phones from the last few years, tablets with C ports. Choose dual USB-A only where the installed base is older and will stay that way, which is increasingly uncommon.
The bigger decision is output. A 5V 2A module is a maintenance charger; a fast-charge module is a different product at a different price. Match the module to the room rather than to the demo phone.
If one outlet is enough, the single A+C plate (FS313-A+C) covers the bedside. If no USB is needed, the standard FS315 twin point is the plate.
The A+C configuration is now standard across the Australian ranges — Clipsal, HPM, Connected Switchgear, Zetr, Voltex — and is widely available through wholesalers in imported versions. The visible plate is similar; the module behind it is not.
